Only met Bill a couple of times, none of them happy occasions because I worked at Fairchild Funeral Home. Mary Ann spoke of him frequenly, so lovingly, and I feel like I knew him, but I didn't really. That's my loss. My heart goes out to everyone in the family. God bless you in this time of sorrow.

At Bills service many people talked about Bill being a "giving person" Who else would let their 16 year old brother-in-law drive his mint condition 48 Ford coupe. I have never met anyone that did not like Bill.

I loved my grandfather and always will. And I am thankful for every day I spent with him whether he was being an 'Oscar', a charmer, or just a gramps! And I am happy everyone can see these pictures of him so you can believe me that he was just as handsome as Sean Connery...even in his younger days he looked like 007. With all my love,
